Safeguarding & Children's Data Notice

Safeguarding & Children's Data

ClubMate is used by grassroots football teams and involves personal data about children under 18. We take the protection of children's data seriously.

What Data We Collect About Children

We collect only the minimum information needed to run the service, such as:

  • Player name and date of birth
  • Squad number and position
  • Training attendance and match performance
  • Awards and development notes (added by coaches)

DBS Checks

Important: ClubMate does not perform or verify DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks on coaches or staff. It is the responsibility of the club or organisation using ClubMate to ensure that all adults working with children have appropriate and up-to-date DBS checks.

Your Rights as a Parent or Guardian
